Christmas is a celebration 0f the birth of Jesus Christ. We don’t know what day Jesus was born on, but December the 25th was chosen to mark His birthday by the Church 1,700 years ago! The early Christians, living in the city of Rome, chose this day as it was a holiday already, marking the middle of Winter.
